Damir Marković
Vision & Development
Founder, owner and director of Somaraton Events. For more than fifteen years, he has been developing sporting events, running communities and partnerships between sport, business and local communities. He is the director of the Sombor Half Marathon, one of the oldest road races in Serbia. He has been involved in the development of numerous recreational, corporate and international sports projects.
He holds a PhD in Economics and is an active marathon runner with 26 marathons completed. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Serbian Athletics Federation and a regular participant in international conferences focused on the development of sporting events and sports tourism.

Milan Kovačić
Production
One of the most experienced members of the team in the field of sports event production. A long-standing member of the organizing team of the Belgrade Marathon, with experience in delivering European and World Cross Country Championships. Particularly focused on operational precision and on-site coordination.
Đorđe Munjas
Logistics
Responsible for logistics, equipment and technical support for events. He has gained his experience through numerous events delivered under a wide range of conditions, with a focus on efficiency and reliable execution of every project. He is particularly focused on rapid response and ensuring that all systems operate reliably in every situation.
Slobodan Dragić
Operations
Years of experience in organizing registration centers, logistics and the safety of sporting events. He pays particular attention to organizing processes that provide participants with a simple, smooth and high-quality experience.
Aleksandar Marković
Support & Coordination
Part of the development of the Somaraton Ecosystem for more than a decade. Responsible for logistics, procurement and coordination with external partners, with a focus on reliable execution of every project.
Maja Bodrožić
Business Partnerships
Holds a PhD in Economics and has many years of experience in the banking sector. She focuses on developing business partnerships and preparing sponsorship proposals and presentations that connect the needs of organizers and partners.
Ivana Šokac
Visual Communications
Responsible for developing the visual communication of events and creating content for social media. Through visual design and digital content, she communicates the identity of each event and ensures consistent and recognizable communication with the community.
Behind every successful event are far more people than those visible at the starting or finish line. This is the core team of Somaraton Events, which we expand as needed through a network of collaborators, volunteers and partners, depending on the requirements of each project.
