The biggest running events are important for much more than the races themselves. They serve as meeting points for organizers, partners, runners and companies that together shape the future of sporting events.
That is why the EXPO events at the Belgrade and Sarajevo Marathons provided an opportunity to present the Sombor Half Marathon and Dame Trče, while also continuing to develop new partnerships and exchange experiences with organizers from across the region.
Throughout both events, we held numerous conversations with representatives of races, companies and institutions, presented our own events, and took part in panel discussions that provided an opportunity to exchange experiences on the organization, promotion and development of mass-participation sporting events.
For Somaraton Events, encounters like these are particularly valuable. The development of an event depends not only on what happens on race day, but also on continuously connecting with people who share the same experiences, challenges and vision for the future of sporting events.
We believe that successful events are built through collaboration. Every new connection, exchange of ideas or partnership is an opportunity to learn, improve our own projects and create new opportunities for organizers, participants and local communities.
